No, it is not mandatory. However, we highly recommend executing a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) limited to specific acts like signing lease agreements or representing you before local authorities. This ensures your assets are managed without requiring your physical presence for every administrative hurdle.

Can I repatriate my rental income or sale proceeds to my country of residence?

Yes. Under RBI and FEMA regulations, NRIs can repatriate up to USD 1 million per financial year from their NRO account. Our team assists with the mandatory Form 15CA and 15CB certifications required by banks to facilitate these transfers securely.

What are the 2026 Capital Gains tax rates for selling property?
